Since there are so many very nice places to paint outside of Ohio.
Traveling with my National Workshop Tour has taught me the difference in color, light, and definition that I see as I travel. I never understood some of the colors I saw in others painting till I traveled, and when I did travel, there it is, just like they painted, not the dreary Ohio colors, with lack of detail or color saturation.
Though traveling has made me re-look at home and the charm it has to offer. A painting can be had wherever you look. It has rekindled the love for what is at home. I can again enjoy some of my familiar settings. Even if for only a moment, before I travel again. Oh the adventure, to learn and share more. Life is a gift for those who want to find it.
