I plan to buff up before the Arnold Schwarzenegger Event in Columbus Ohio in March. Last year I won the Arnold Choice Award, and am hoping for even better things this year. To accomplish my goals, I’m visualizing them.
So I how can I buff up my paintings? I have a few ideas.
I want to be more responsible in all activities I move into by researching events, shows and galleries before I apply. I have to admit I have taken a shotgun approach to marketing in the past, sometimes not spending money where I should. Better research may have helped me better target events that suit me.
I spent most of last year working on the weaknesses in my oil paintings. This year, however, I would like to spend time reaping the benefits of last year’s work by developing individual pieces with a new direction that I believe best fits me.
I think all artists should plan for their future work.
