The Waffle House Patron
Original Oil painting

This is the second in a series of paintings on American Work Ethic. Painted abstractly with no regard to any traditional approach. I could do anything I wanted as long as it supported the overall story of a patron being served at a checkout counter at Waffle House. People come to eat, get served, pay, and leave. Without such conveniences that we count on as a culture, we may get lost for better or worse solutions. The predictability of service being present at a restaurant is important to the service as is a friendly face and warm food.
